Jun 6, 2010 - @SuperVultureculture Garcia's vocals compliment the Kyuss style perfectly. I used not like him either, but his voice really grew on me pretty fast. He's really only on the Wretch/Sons of Kyuss CD's, but they were like teenagers when they made those. He really came into his own on Blues for the Red Sun, and you realize that his voice is just an original one. Certainly not monotone. The only guy that could've done better in Kyuss, IMO, is probably Mark Lanegan or Layne Staley

Well Josh fits the Qotsa Style better and his vocals are soild gold but Kyuss was simply better than Qotsa ( even though Qotsa are simply uberawesome). The amount of talent Kyuss had with Reeder, Homme, Brant and Garcia was just toooo epic
