YES, this is a hack. Doing all of this nonsense will not actually get you an Arceus. (Well, unless you hack and use cheat codes the exact same way...) For those of you who want to know how I did this: 1. I made the Arceus sprite in MS Paint and saved it as a gif. 2. I inserted the sprite in a Silver ROM in place of Ho-Oh's sprite (I haven't found a program that inserts sprites into R/B/Y ROMs.) 3. I encountered a Ho-Oh using a cheat code so the sprite would appear 4. I saved the memory dump at line 9000 at a size of 310. 5. I loaded the dump into a Blue ROM at the black screen of the battle with Jemo. Creds to tootlerocks for the second song. Note: I originally got this strategy from Marriland. This stategy isn't perfect. There are quite a few things that will make it not work, like a Ghost type or a status condition attack, more specifically a sleeping attack like Spore. The strategy will still work if the Pokemon's ability prevents it from getting the status condition, but it might be more unstable. In this battle, my Lv. 1 Starly fought my Lv. 100 Arceus (poison). Starly was holding a Focus Sash and it knew Quick Attack (a first strike move) and Endeavor, which are necessary for this strategy to work. In the battle, I used Endeavor after Arceus attacked me so it would have only 1 HP left. Then since Quick Attack goes first all the time, I used it and since Arceus had only 1 HP, it fainted, and Starly won. This technique can be used with any Pokemon that can learn both Endeavor and a move that strikes first (Quick Attack, Extremespeed, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard, Mach Punch, Shadow Sneak, etc.). Also, you have to make the Pokemon hold a Focus Sash (or a Focus Band, but I don't recommend it because it doesn't work as well as a Focus Sash). Some Pokemon that can meet these requirements are Doduo, Rattata, Taillow. Treecko, Phanphy, and others. Enjoy.

Lv. 1 Starly...

Platinum Arceus...

Both thieves removed their video. This is the the MOST-REQUESTED song for me (16 times, at least until Giratina Battle) in Mario Paint Composer (improved imitation of Mario Paint's music composer). And I believe it is probably one of the most epic battle themes in all of the Pokémon games! Please ignore the problems in part four. I couldn't transpose part three down an octave, so part four had to go up...but that end was quite limited too, so this is the best I could do. I think it turned out quite nice! It's here! My Arceus hack! This took a while since I couldn't find a pokemon with the right colors so I had to find a indexed sprite on the internet. I did that, and then I had draw out the icon pixel by pixel. Next, I had to find a overworld sprite with the correct palettes. It took a while and I found out the BIG YELLOW UGLY GUY HAS THE RIGHT PALETTES. Then mapping. That took like an hour since there was some problems. The warp doesn't work well. I found a tool that let me edit the EVs and IVs and the pokedex entry. I also found a tool that let me edit the footprints. The pokedex entry was the entries from Diamond And Pearl. Only Flaws: Arceus was lv 40, THANKS TO POKETRONIC. Warps don't work. Door has cloud reflections. Arceus' reflection was messed up. Arceus' battle sprite was messed up. LAG. Tools used: Advance-Map YAPE (yet another pokemon editor) (Yape took care of dexter, baseedit, RSEvolution, and some other crap tools) unLZ.Gba IconEd Footprint Editor Overworld editor Poketronic (Still hate you) HyperCam 2 (lol) The reason I had to use Hypercam was that I lagged like hell when I was recording using the emulator's built in recorder. The speed percentage dropped from 100% to like 4%. So I HAD to used Hypercam. good thing I was registered. I used Sony Vegas to edit the video, like cut out the messed up parts, and HAD to use Windows Movie maker to make the size smaller, since it was like 800 MB when I made it freshly from Sony Vegas.
